Review
Who is the uninvited one?
This is the question you will need to find out in this movie. However, the key learning point from this movie is when Anna’s (Emily Browning) psychiatrist told her that
“We live by remembering and we also live by forgetting, you should forget the (mistake) you have done and carry on and enjoy the rest of your life”.
True enough, in lives, we bound to make mistakes. Some of the mistakes we had done had brought pain to people around us. Most of the times we made such mistakes because we are inexperience and naive.
The turning point in our lives is whether we take the mistakes as a good learning experience to make our lives better or whether we take it as a bitter experience which we could not forgive and forget.
The interpretation of the message behind this movie is to advise us to forget about the painful mistakes we had done and carry on our lives without holding grudges and guilt towards ourselves and people around us. It’s about making lives better not bitter.
